What is the difference between grass-fed and grass-finished?
Grass-fed means the animal ate grass during its life, but may have been grain-finished before slaughter. Grass-finished means the animal ate exclusively grass its entire life — this results in higher omega-3 content and CLA. Look for "grass-finished" or "100% grass-fed" for the cleanest product.
